Energy Practice Area Coordinator (EN PAC)
Downtown Houston location; Direct Hire

Seeking strong candidate with experience and passion to fill a Practice Area Coordinator (PAC) role for the Energy Practice; reports to Energy Practice Area Global Manager (GM); will also support Energy Practice Area Regional PAL (RegPAL) in coordinating activities and Head of Global Practice Area Marketing in orchestrating the Practice Area Marketing and Communication agenda.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Practice Area marketing
·         Finance and Controlling and BD reporting
·         Support for management
·         People / PA networking
·         Meetings & Conferences
·         PA internal communication
·         Support for global PAL

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Support internal and external marketing initiatives to include maintaining the AEPG contacts database and mailings
·         Organize and participate in conferences and meetings
·         Proactively communicate information through website, newsletter, etc.
·         Provide basic financial analysis on Practice Area performance
·         Provide support for budgeting, case activity / client development pipeline tracking
·         Support on AMR specific HR / people admin and processes 
·         Support coordination of client review processes (not content)
·         Support organization of Practice Area meetings and trainings
·         Prepare agenda and coordinate regular management and core group calls
·         Promotes innovation for the company by recognizing new concepts and facilitating their capture
·         Help others navigate the practice network by performing practice website management/maintenance (e.g., creating new topic structures, maintaining awareness of all PA cases and decks available)
·         Capture Practice Area intellectual capital by soliciting materials, sanitizing case material, and uploading to Navigator

Background:

·         3+ years relevant experience in a professional services firm and/or demonstrated coordination/execution of complex tasks
·         Experience in Marketing strongly preferred
·         Solid budgeting/accounting experience; demonstrated organizational skills
·         Energy industry/topic "know-how" with focus on US market
·         University degree

Skills:

·         Strong analytical, conceptual and multi-tasking skills
·         Excellent communication and teaming skills
·         Open to learning technical programs and affiliating with Corporate Finance team, as well as close collaboration with Marketing teams
·         Exceptional organizational and planning skills
·         Excellent written and oral communication skills

Additional Info:

·         Will support Regional Energy Practice Area Leader across multiple Practice Area needs (some of the tasks will include: develop and maintain distribution and mailing lists, organize minutes/paperwork from bi-weekly calls, organize and maintain client factsheets, enhance reporting for the ENPA, create and maintain various ENPA databases, help prepare quarterly newsletters, people and organizational announcements, tracking of ENPA Consulting staffing in the region, building and networking with other PAs to introduce best practices, over time, will support with marketing materials/round table discussion, etc)
·         Regional PAL is looking for someone who will lead in organizing the PAs reporting and paper work, etc.  Looking for someone with exceptional project management, organizational and interpersonal skills
·         Must have a mix of analytical and conceptual skills
·         Must have strong PowerPoint and Excel skills to be able to develop and maintain reporting and databases
·         Must be able to manage virtual relationships and work with various levels of seniority
·         Must be able to multi-task and drive projects to completion; suggest solutions of how to improve the administrative/reporting side of the PA and drive this process
·         4 to 7 years experience; ideal candidate will need to be mature, ambitious, autonomous, analytical and strong communicator (written and oral)
