Dorothy Nagle Hambrick

Skittles grandmother (Mamaw, left with Skittles mom Judy) passed away Friday (5.9.08) at the age of 80. We were lucky enough to live next door to her for a year (at a very generously extended low rent) and she was always happy and smiling and ready to visit, and I have never felt safer in a house. She kept an eye on us, and whenever I was home sick, his family always knew more than my own, because if my car was home during the week Mamaw would report it to the Pinter side, and I would get calls and soup and concern like you would not believe. She (and they as well) took better care of me that if I was true family, but from what I have seen and heard through her many wonderful friends, this was her way.

As the funeral is complete, if anyone would like to make a contribution in her name to the M D Anderson YMCA I am sure she would be thrilled. http://www.ymcahouston.org/giveagift.aspx
