On Tuesday, December 6 from 6:00 to 8:30 I'll be at The Brewery Tap downtown selling heavily discounted copies of Houston Dining on the Cheap ($10) and The Guide to Ridiculously Easy Entertaining ($5) for the holiday season.  It can be the chance to pick up stocking stuffers or items for the office gift exchange for a song.  Or, just drop by for a beer.

The Brewery Tap is located at Franklin and Milam in the northwest corner of downtown.  Cheers.

Mike

Volunteers Needed: Monsters Of Beer Charity Festival

If anyone wants to help pour beer (and drink it for free) they need more volunteers for Saturday. Will work for beer?

 Hey y'all,

Many of you already know this, but the 2nd Monsters Of Beer Charity Festival is this Saturday, November 12th from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at Guadalupe Plaza Park (near Ninfa's Navigation).  This is our flagship event of the year and we are looking to raise $50,000 this year.  We are looking for more volunteers to pour beer (always a good thing!)  If you know anyone who is available to come pour beer (and drink lots of it) while raising money for charity (Friday Harbour and Stepping Stones Charter School) – please send them to www.monstersofbeer.com and ask them to sign up to volunteer via the form that is on the home page!

We will have a great time!

All the best,

Cathy

Hi Abeer,

I sent you some information regarding this information several weeks ago and just recently tendered an offer to another candidate. Unfortunately, this just fell through today so I wanted to run this by you one last time (it's wide open at this point):

ORIGINAL EMAIL:

I'm representing a Dominion Diagnostics, LLC, the premier provider of comprehensive clinical quantitative urine drug testing, medication monitoring and support services nationwide.

This company is also ahead of the personalized medicine curve by further developing a pharmacogenetic testing platform where an individual genotype can be analyzed to optimize treatment outcomes.

Dominion Diagnostics, LLC has recently acquired a new CEO and Vice President of Sales to drive their new growth plans. Both are ex colleagues of mine and the VP of Sales is a personal friend, so I can attest to their leadership.

The pain management/addiction testing market is growing at a 24% growth rate; the highest growth rate under the diagnostic umbrella. Dominion Diagnostics is a major player in the space and with annual revenue increases of 10-15% year after year.

I'm currently looking for a Houston-based Sales Representative who can sell for both their Pain Management & Addiction divisions. This person will be responsible for offering a multiple-faceted solution to providers in the following specialties: Addiction, Anesthesiologists, Pain Management, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, Primary Care and Physiatrists. This is a consultative sell which demands a high level of mental dexterity.

I saw your profile on LinkedIn & believe your background would be suitable for this opportunity. Pharma reps with a pain management and/or addiction specialties do very well in this niche clinical laboratory testing sector.

Very competitive base salary (80-85K) along with monthly commissions (150-160K at plan) car allowance (or company car) and full benefits.

Either way, let me know if you're interested and I can talk about it in more detail.

Thanks!
